if we notice : this dirham written today in Arabic language 75H for abdul almalik ,

now pure dirham : pure dirham means words or chapters written or interlard only by Arabic language ( in Simple Kofi font ) on dirham like figure 2
Most of the researches tell first dirham is 78H minted in alkufa – biji – shik Altaimara , Azerbaijan and Erminia is the first pure dirham , but there is dirham dated 40 H , for Mu'awiya bin Abi Sufyan 41-60AH/661-680AD figure :3 . but between 40H till 87 hijri we didn’t see any dirham with date between 40& 78 Hijri , this give equivalent date in 40 Hijri it mistake during dirham strike or copying
firgure 3: 40 Hijri - for Mu'awiya bin Abi Sufyan 41-60AH , Silver Dirham, Wasit 44h
figure 2
Silver Dirhams dated 78h are known from four mints: Adharbayjan, Arminiya, Shaqq al-Taymara, and al-Kufa. Klat records a total of five specimens, two of Adharbayjan and one each of the other three mints
Note : Dinar vs dirham weight : one dinar it is equal to 12 dirhams and the legitimate weight for dirham is 2.975 gram
